Brief Description of the Works

Tangent Construction Limited carried out emergency repair works to the North Pier Steps at Middleton Beach Hartlepool.

The works involved removing a damaged and sub-standard beach access ramp/stairs and replacing it with a viewing/ seating area and DDA compliant steps onto the beach. Also involved were sea wall repairs to stone wall with mass concrete and shutters within a tidal area and protection of the new steps with rock armour.
