THE CLOFF BRIDGE
Hartlepool Borough Council
Project Value: £34797.00 – Start Date: June 2010 Completed: November 2010
Brief Description of the Works
The work involved replacing a dangerous bridge over a public right of way between Stockton on Tees and Hartlepool Borough Council.
The bridge was initially intended to have insitu cast concrete deck to replace existing but due to the access problem through a triple SI walkway this would of required temporary road widening.
We agreed that the Engineers would redesign the bridge to be manufactured off site and lifted into place.
Based on the Engineers drawings we fabricated the bridge in our workshops and we lifted into place with minimum disruption and no contamination to water sources.
We also replaced the fencing structures throughout the project.
